The song that I have chosen is Metallica-Disposable Heroes. I believe that this song is about young soldiers being sent to war over nothing ,and to pay the ultimate price of death.
My interpretation of this song is very literal , I have used small plastic toy soldiers as my “disposable heroes” as they are just used as disposable toys.

This image was taken as part of a hair and beauty project that we did with other students at our college. It was to get us used to working with people we dont know, and people who may be nervous about having their pictures taken. Also, it helped us develop our studio skills.

This image was taken as part of the song lyric assignment. My chosen song was by Angels and Airwaves, and the song itself is about loss, moving on from a terrible loss and never forgetting about the past. I think this image sums up all of those things in one.

This blog has been created by photography students who attend Tameside college in greater manchester.
Its full of our work which we do in class, and side projects too. You can find all the students own personal blogs to the side of the page to see more of their own work.

As our first major brief of the year, one of the units covered is to post our work into a blog on the net for all to see. This is so we can gain feedback on our work from people who we dont know, and other photographers who are doing similar blogs to ours.
